The Alder Tree in the Irish mythological horoscope, covers the period from March 18th – April 14th. According to old Irish legends, the Alder, a tree which likes to grow near water, was considered to be the tree from which the first man was created. It was said that a whistle made from the Alder was magical and could commune with the spirits of air and water. .
